About the Position and Department
Global Service Engineering are responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of fueling stations across regions. We are therefore seeking a skilled candidate to assume the department lead on all matters related to SW & Controls. You will join an advanced work environment where your skills will be challenged often, giving you the ability to thrive on both a professional and personal level.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Taking the technical responsibility on PLC/HMI/Electrical matters – from diagnostics to troubleshooting, support and ensuring quality resolutions on site.
- Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on process equipment with a holistic approach to identification and documentation.
- Commissioning and maintaining operations of fueling stations with focus on PLC/HMi and electrical equipment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Clearly communicate with stakeholders at all levels across departments.
- Deploy SW upgrades while providing support to on-site technicians.
Key Qualifications (Educational background and Professional Experience)
- Solid knowledge of process control systems, behaviors and methodologies – preferably from Secomea and Beckhoff
- Substantial experience with PLC equipment and HMI software
- Advanced proficiency in PLC troubleshooting for process control systems
- Ability to oversee and perform config file changes and integration of control systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex control systems issues.
- Several years of experience as an automatic electrician or similar.
- Preferably work experience from powerplant, aviation or complex process control systems.
