About the job
As a Service Engineer, Operation Specialist - Software & Controls, your most important job is to ensure the highest availability possible on our fueling stations around the world. You will be part of a Global Service Engineering team thriving to enhance efficiency and stability of our fleet across regions.
Your main tasks include highly advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics and remote support counting both electrical and system-control issues as well as a high level of details when documenting your work.
You will be working from our headquarters in Herning. Since this role is a cross regions position, working hours in different time zones may occur.
Key responsibilities:
You will be performing software and PLC support during both commissioning and operation. With your skills in electrical and control-systems, you excel in leading diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting, installing software updates and keeping accuracy on your task and documentation.
When your resolutions have been documented and processed, you will conduct remote support to either customers or our field-service technicians by request. In close collaboration with your colleagues in both USA and Denmark, you will be sharing knowledge and progress on your joined tasks. Further, you will be the company go-to person on software and controls topics from an operational perspective. You are expected to do a profound impact on documentation of both your tasks and the maintenance documentation.
Professional skills:
Your preferred background is a dedicated technician within industrial electricity, automation or engineering. You have, or can rapidly acquire knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, preferably BECKHOFF, and I/O config file changes, I/O Topology, and Secomea.
You are proficient with Grafana and FileZilla and can identify improvements for our fueling stations related to automation and controlling. You have excellent documentation skills and are fluent in both written and spoken English.

Your strong attention to details, curios mindset and ability to work both independently as well as with your team is given. You are persistent, structured and have a systematic approach to your tasks.
You understand the importance of knowledge sharing and value clear and concise communication with stakeholders.
